about me

I set up my freelance consultancy in 2011 to help more organisations create outstanding exhibitions, interpretation and engagement projects. I work in many different media including hands-on exhibits and activities, digital interactives and film to stimulate active learning and engagement. My clients come in all sizes and many different types including the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, Edinburgh International Science Festival, Catrine Community Trust, National Mining Museum Scotland, V&A Dundee and the University of Edinburgh.

Prior to launching my freelance business, I worked for eleven years in two National Museum groups (Science Museum Group and National Museums Scotland) where I created cutting-edge exhibitions and programming and organisational strategy. I have experience working with both Scottish and English school systems, an MSc in science communication (Imperial College London), and a PgDip in sustainable development including sustainable tourism and community development.
